Abstract

This document shows the process carried out for the official photographic session of the Sacred Canvas of the Virgin of Guadalupe of El Carrizal, carried out between November 7 and 17, 2019. The same began with the dismantling of the Canvas of the Virgin from its usual place, on the historic altarpiece of the altar of the Basilica. The main objective of this artistic photographic session was to portray the face and image of the Virgen Morena, which would be used for the official designs and images of the Virgin of Guadalupe of El Carrizal, highlighting its history and cultural importance for the celebration of the Tricentennial of Guadalupe. This particular and dedicated work was in charge of the UNEFM staff and the Basilica of El Carrizal directed by Professor Oscar Abreu (Responsible for the UNEFM-Basilica Agreement) and authorized by Father Arling R. Moreno Yores, Rector of the Sanctuary. The photographs were taken by the professionals Fernando Acosta (+) and Arnoldo Molina. For the Basilica, Mr. Eliezer Chirinos and Mr. Luis Gómez. A professional work for the diffusion and promotion of the religious patrimony of the state of Falcon and Venezuela.
