EL ARTE SAGRADO EN LA DEVOCIÓN MARIANA DE EL CARRIZAL
Abstract
The Minor Basilica of El Carrizal, still keeps in its interior sacred works of the colonial time (XVIII century) that is kept of cult and veneration for the Falconian parishioners. These works are exhibited in the presbytery of the temple, these are: the canvas of the Virgin of Guadalupe, the carvings of the Virgin and Juan Diego, the tabernacle and the altarpiece. The mentioned article seeks to narrate the history of these movable goods citing the inventories of Bishops Valverde and Martí, ecclesiastical documents and historians; it also seeks to spread the conservation of the sacred art of the temple and the world, and in turn, the Guadalupan Marian devotion. Pedro de Sangronis compiled with effort through the time when he founded El Carrizal and was the priest doctrinero.Published
